Date Night

I had a rather lovely weekend, I worked on Saturday as usual but luckly got out early. I was set up on a blind date by my friend Amy. My dates name was Jeff and we just met at Amy and her husband Ed's house. After a yummy dinner cooked by Amy we had a rousing game of Scrabble. The cool thing about this date was that I hadn't been on a date in several months. I mean were talking several, almost a year since my last date. Jeff was cool, he's very laid back and chill and has the same dry sense of humor that I have. It was a fun night and I'm glad that I went. I did discover however that I am not that good at Scrabble. For a woman (me) who believes that she has a fairly grand command of the English language I stank up the joint.
