Could have, Should have

I had the opportunity to go on the Mayercraft Carrier Cruise, my sister asked me if I wanted to go, she was offering it as a birthday gift. Because I have an irrational fear of ships I declined. I'm afraid that I will fall overboard never to be heard from again, or contract some virus (remember the Norwalk virus a few years back?) So instead I stayed home and suffered in the cold, instead of in the caribbean. Not to mention suffered through watching the Patriots lose the Superbowl. Oh well supposedly he's doing it again next year, maybe I'll jump on board then.
