Valentines Day

Happy belated Valentines Day!

I hope everyone (whoever everyone is. Ha!) had a great day. Honestly the day passed me by without any real thought. I got up went to work and went back to my place. I just didn't pay much attention to the day. Usually I just give out the cards you get for littles, the ones with the Peanuts Gang. It's fun to give to the people in my life that I love. You know I have NEVER ever had a romantic valentine. My relationships have either ended before V day, or have started afterwards. So I by now I know not to sup myself up and just go with the flow. It can be a difficult time for single folks, it's so in our face about the flowers and the gifts, and the sex that we should be getting. As if you have no value if your not in a relationship with someone. It can make one feel like a loser being celibate and waiting for marriage. But God is what sustains me, even though it can be difficult. Because lets face it the desire for sex is definitely there! I look forward to giving love and getting love. And I especially look forward to that person that God blesses me with. Until then I will try to keep my heart right and love who I'm with now and always. My creator. Oh, and myself
